Role Description

The scheduler is a customer service-oriented team member, critical to achieving iYellow Interpreting’s mission of advancing equitable communication access through transcription of the spoken word. In collaboration with the iYellow Captions team, they ensure a positive experience for all iYellow Captions’ stakeholders.


  • Respond to service requests.
  • Manage service requests.
  • Assign service providers.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with clients in different time zones (nationally and internationally).
  • Ensure event preparatory materials are received in advance.
  • Manage database of proprietary scheduling system.
  • Manage client and provider experience in alignment with our commitment to superior customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Associate degree or higher, preferred.
  • Four years of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Communicates well one-on-one, in small groups.
  • Clear, precise, well-organized communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiencies.
  • Sees the big pictures. Passionately finds ways over, around or through barriers to success.
  • Generates new approaches to problems or innovations to established best practices.
